Around the turn of the millennium, Medical Education has seen sweeping changes in relation to the curricula, teaching / learning approaches and assessment methods. It surely will continue to change in response to societal needs and scientific advances. The most recent impetus has been COVID-19 epidemic which has challenged the educators to creatively develop teaching and assessment methods that can work effectively and efficiently while maintaining the social distancing and avoiding the gatherings of the classrooms and examination halls. Suddenly online teaching methods have taken over face to face teaching. The MedEd Webinar series is meant to address the current issues in Medical Education as well as prepare the Medical Teachers and Educationist for the future needs and trends in Medical Education.
