FAQ
When do payouts start?
30 days after a referred customer's first successful Stripe charge — that gives them through the refund window before we cut your payout. Subsequent months pay on the first of each month.
Does this stack with someone's existing 14-day trial?
Yes. Every new signup gets the full 14-day Pro trial. If they convert, you earn 30% on month 1 onward. The trial is on us, not your commission.
What if a referral churns after a few months?
Your commission stops the month they cancel. If they come back later, the payout resumes. You're aligned with retention; we like that.
Can I run paid ads to my referral link?
Yes — but no bidding on “CiteClip” or our branded keywords (we run those ourselves). Anything else, including ads to category keywords like “competitor monitoring tool,” is fair game.
Why no self-serve form?
Two reasons. First: a 1-on-1 email exchange filters out people whose audience isn't a fit, which protects everyone's time. Second: high-volume partners (newsletters, agencies with peer networks) usually qualify for a higher rate, and that conversation needs to happen before the link gets issued.
